UK Italy Removals moves households and belongings from Britain to Italy. Whole homes, shared part loads, single pieces, cars, storage while the rogito catches up: every job we plan has an Italian address at the end of it.
Why build a removals firm around a single country?
Because Italy rewards the people who know it. Moving to Italy means a transfer-of-residence claim with the Agenzia delle Dogane e dei Monopoli, a choice between the Mont Blanc, Fréjus and Brenner crossings, permits to enter a ZTL, an amministratore who wants notice before the lift is used, and sometimes a gravel road that no lorry should attempt. None of that is difficult when it is familiar. All of it is difficult when it is being worked out for the first time on your moving day.
So we keep our attention on one destination. Our coordinators speak Italian and deal with comuni, building managers and portieri directly. Our inventories are written in both languages because the customs office and the delivery crew both read them. Our surveyors ask about the Italian street as closely as the British house, because that is where moves go wrong.
We are also clear about what we do not do. The permesso di soggiorno, the codice fiscale and registration at the Anagrafe are personal applications that Italian offices handle with you directly; we explain them and time the move around them, but we do not pretend to file them. Pets travel with you or a pet carrier, never on a removal vehicle.

What happens between your enquiry and your first night in Italy?

Brief and survey
You send both addresses through the quote form. We follow up by email, then survey your home in person or by video and ask for photos of the Italian street, stairwell or lane.

Route and paperwork
We choose the Alpine crossing for your region, prepare the UK export declaration and the transfer-of-residence claim, and request any ZTL or street permits from the comune.

Packing and collection
Your belongings are packed, numbered and labelled in English and Italian. The inventory written here is the one Italian customs will check.

Delivery and setting up
The crew that loaded your home carries it in, with a montamobili or shuttle van where access calls for it, and reassembles furniture on request.
Cover, contracts and your rights
Every move carries goods-in-transit cover from collection to the last item placed. The insurance certificate is sent with your written quote, so you can read the sum insured, the excess and the claims procedure before you book. Your booking contract and our terms set out deposits, cancellation and claims in full, and your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply throughout.

Plan from the Italian door
Access at the delivery address decides the vehicle, the crew and the permits. We look at it first, not last.
Honest about the limits
If a lane is too steep for a lorry or a comune will only issue a permit to residents, you hear it from us at survey rather than on the day.
No anonymous hand-offs
Your belongings stay with the crew that packed them. Local shuttle vans and boat operators join only where the street or canal demands it.
